My first review(s)! I believe this deserves a woot.
Woot!
I love that word. Almost as much as I love "pwn". Gamer speech made public, my friends! Can't beat it, can't understand it.
Well, there's your random ramble for the day. I'll start making sense now.
(Spoiler Warning Level: MILD)
The Mortal Instruments:
City of Bones, by Cassandra Clare
A demon, a nightclub filled with half-human mythical creatures, and a mysterious, beautiful boy. Does this sound good all ready? Well, it's the content of the first chapter. From that point on, it gets better. The story is rich in heart-pounding action, vividly crafted characters, and a world to challenge our reality. The book is part dark fantasy, part tragic love story--and it will keep you breathless from the first word to the last. 5/5
City of Ashes, by Cassandra Clare
This book starts right where City of Bones left off. You're sucked into the story immediately, and withdrawing yourself is nigh impossible. The romance, the adventures, the characters, and the breathtaking-story telling all intensify in this stunning sequel. And the cliff hanger? Absolutely excruciating. 5/5
City of Glass, by Cassandra Clare
The story comes to head in this thrilling finale--as the star-crossed love, the lies and the hidden truth, the angels and the demons all collide in the Shadowhunter's home, Idris. You'll find yourself on the edge as the story progresses through a series of highs and lows. Death and life. Love and hate. Savior and betrayal. A war is upon our favorite characters, and the odds are stacked in the favor of Hell. 5/5
Seriously, if you haven't read these books--DO SO NOW. The prequel's (The Infernal Devices, set a hundred odd years before TMI) first book comes out this August (I feel I've mentioned this before...) so if you want to start there, be my guest. I can't wait to read these, because I'm a total Magnus fangirl and I can't wait to read more about him. Not so much looking forward to MagnusxCammille, though. Weshallsee....
Also, there's a fourth book in the TMI series coming out next September! City of Fallen Angels. I swear to God, I'm living on an hour-to-hour basis for this book.
Fangirl, remember. Fangirl.

I went to a book signing event put on by her (Cassandra Clare) and Holly Black (author of the YA series, A Modern Faerie Tale). It was so wicked. Totally relaxed and fun atmosphere (we started off by Holly asking Cassandra who'd she'd Marry, Kiss, or Push Of a Cliff, Sebastion, Valentine, and the Inquistor. Dear readers, this is how to spend an afternoon) and I got all my books signed *fangirl squee*! Cassandra and Holly were also great. Calling them "down to earth" is too cliched, but, you know. The thought is there.
So go the the events whenever you get the chance!!!!
That's all for this post, dear readers.
