A friend of mine asked for my top ten books, and since I haven't updated this page in awhile I decided to kill two birds with one sparkly stone and post it here!
Why a sparkly stone...? Because those are the best kind of stones. Especially bird-killing stones.
I just finished "L: change the WorLd" by "M" (otherwise known as Nisio Isin). It was very, very good. As I read it, I realized it wasn't really about me anymore, but about L.
That doesn't make sense...? But I'm not paid to make sense!
(I'm not paid at all...)
Anyway, I'm done drabbling for now. List time!
*MY TOP TEN BOOKS IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER*
1. The Mortal Instruments series, by Cassandra Clare.
2. The Modern Faerie Tale series, by Holly Black
3. Incarceron, by Catherine Fisher
4. Sapphique, also by Catherine Fisher
5. The Farsala Trilogy, by Hilari Bell
6. The Luxe series, by Anna Godbersen
7. The Wicked series (no relation to the Broadway play), by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie
8. The Hunger Games Trilogy, by Suzanne Collins
9. The Percy Jackson Series*, by Rick Riordan
10. Death Note (including all 12 volumes, and the two light novels), by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata (the light novels are by the aforementioned Nisio Isin, or "M")
*this series are a bit for the younger set, but still very entertaining.
Good stuff, ne? Like my fangirl usage of the Japanese "ne" in a completely English sentence? You cannot be a fangirl without the odd Japanese word here or there.
KAWAII! (Which is "cute", for you civilians out there...)
Anyone here love fanfiction? I'm a HUGE fan. Right now I'm reading LOADS of Death Note fanfics (I love both the fluffy and the serious) and some TMI stuff.
Have to go now. Sayoonara!
